Obituary

Nichole Lee Burgess, 40, of Azle, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on August 19, 1978 in Traverse, Michigan, the daughter of Bill Burgess and Carrol Sutton. Nikki was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and friend. She was a caring and compassionate person who’s door was always open, and she loved being surround by the people she loved. Nikki enjoyed being outdoors, hiking, camping, and fishing. She was passionate about music and loved attending concerts with friends. Most of all Nikki adored being a mother. She is preceded in death by her mother, Carrol Burgess; and sister, Tammy Laun. Nikki is survived bye her loving husband, James Robles; daughter, Kiera Robles; father, Bill Burgess; siblings, Lonnie Gere, Tina Schwander, Gretchen Hurley; step-children, Brianna Robles, Dylan Robles, Ian Robles; granddaughter, Ava Hall; god daughter, Cameron Laun. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 21st at 1:00 pm in the Chism-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The family would like to thank Laura Hughes for being a genuine friend to Nikki, and being there at every doctors appointment and hospital stay, we are truly grateful.
