Obituary


Billy Wayne Richardson, age 76 of Irving, Texas passed away on August 27, 2018. He was born on March 20, 1942 in Brownwood, Texas to Samuel and Jewel Richardson. They preceded him in death along with his sisters Glenna and Kay. When he was in the US Army stationed in France, he married the love of his life, Claudette Lomer on February 3, 1962. Billy and Claudette settle in Texas after he got out of the service and he started working for Stafford Lowdon Company where he worked for over 30 years until his health made him have to retire. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing. Billy liked to travel and adored his family. He leaves behind his wife of 56 years Claudette Richardson; son, Patrick Richardson and wife Julie; daughter, Valerie McBride; sister and brother-in-law, Loraine and Larry Davidson; grandchildren, Chelsea, Britney, Brandy and Max; great-grandchildren, Persephone and Sergio; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service honoring Billy’s life will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 6th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home.
