So very sorry for your loss.  May the Lord comfort you all with strength and peace.  Vernia was such a special cousin.  Loved her laughter and her strength thru the years.  She touched so many lives in her years on earth and left her footprints on so many things for us to remember.

One of my fondest memories is going over to y'alls house on a holiday and setting down and eating some of aunt Vernia's fried chicken. Meeting in the park on Easter Sunday after church and spending the day eating and playing what a joyous time that was every year. You cousins are my our prayers today and the days ahead.

Rick and I just want to express our sympathies to all the family.  We know Vernia as a mom and grandmother who loved her family dearly.  Our paths have crossed many times through our friendship with Robert & Peggy for over forty years.  We hurt when our friends hurt, but we also know that Vernia's pain and suffering are over.  Hang on to that and all the sweet memories your family share.  You will be in our prayers in the days ahead.
