Ethel Lee Armer, age 77 of Irving, Texas passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017. She was born on January 29, 1940 in Arkansas to Elmer and Gusty Davis, they preceded her in death along with her siblings, Frank Davis and Joyce Howard. Ethel married Harvey Armer on December 31, 1959 in Denton, Texas. She really liked being outside if it was washing her truck or gardening. Ethel was a big fan of George Strait and Conway Twitty. She adored her family and would do anything for any of them. Ethel is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harvey Armer; daughter, Teresa Harmon and husband Tim; son, Gary Thompson; siblings, Ruby Gibbs, Leo Davis, Charlie Davis (Gladys) and Lovena Farmer (Cliff); grandchildren, Shannon Bryant, Timothy Harmon JR; great-grandchildren, Terrell Ennis, Abigail Harmon and Kennedy Harmon; Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 11th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 12th at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving, TX.
