Obituary


Josefina Trevino, age 92 of Irving, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. She was born on November 14, 1925 in Pachuca, Mexico to (parents names). They both preceded her in death along with siblings Manuel, Joaquin, Gudelia and a granddaughter, Shawna Trevino. Josefina married the love of her life, Jose Trevino on February 28, 1953 in Monterrey, Mexico and soon after that they both immigrated to the United States where they earned their citizenship. She was a woman that cherished her family, she had three beautiful children and had ten brothers and sisters. Josefina had an amazing childhood that she always had such fond memories of. It was very important to her that her family loved each other and stayed a very close knit family. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jose Trevino; children, Jose Trevino, Jr. (Lisa), Jaime Trevino (Guille), Nora Dean (Jimmy); siblings, Maria, Natividad, Rosa Maria, Juan, Roberto and Jesus David; grandchildren, Melissa Clifton, Christy Atwood, Adrianna Alms, Jaime Trevino, Jr., Monica Marek, Daniel Trevino, Tiffany Dean; great-grandchildren, Austin, Casey, Shawn, Jason, Uriah and Zane. A Memorial Service to honor her life will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Chism-Smith Funeral Home.
