My memory of Carmen will forever teach me how to battle difficult circumstances with your whole being (spirit, soul and body) and still live vicariously at the same time. She was an amazingly strong woman and I feel blessed that she was in my life. I'll miss you sweet friend!

I shall always remember your spirit for life and that contagious laugh of yours! I treasure the memories forever in my heart and be grateful for having you not only as a friend, but as part of my Dateland family... As you said once "no one will ever understand the bond we all shared by riding Miles bus day in and day out!"
Now your inner self can actually soar with the angels fly high my dear friend! I used to save you a seat on the bus, now you save me a seat in Heaven... Until we meet again ?

Another angel has joined God’s heavenly army! We will miss seeing you with Keith at all the Billy Bob’s concerts! And I know he’ll be missing you going with him.  So sad we can’t live forever with no hurt, pain or disease.  But just think, you’re free now.  May God hold Keith and all your loved ones close at this time of loss.  We will miss you and that beautiful smile of yours.  Charlie and Marie Bennett

I am 3 months older than Carmen, it was a running joke that I would always be older than her.  She will be missed.  She was a devoted mother /grandmother to her children and grandchild.  She worked tirelessly at her job.  She will be missed.  My prayers and condolences for her family.

I knew Carmen through Keith Lowery, her boyfriend.  She was a lovely woman who was a true fighter in every sense of the word.  Keith often spoke of her fiery determination and strong will to live.  Through him, I knew that she had an abundant "love of life." I know that she brought him great joy, and from his words, I know that she brought her family and friends a wealth of love and joy as well.  May God continue to bless her as she now rests in peace.  Her memory and zest for life continues in the legacy she leaves.
