Obituary

Erika Ramirez Ayala, age 38 of Farmers Branch, Texas passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, February 12, 2018. She was born on January 14, 1980 in Mexico to Victor Ramirez and Ofelia Ayala Hernandez. Erika was the proud mother of six children ages 19-2 and had a close relationship with her two brothers. She was an outgoing, happy person who had lots of friends and would go to visit them often, and had the ability to make each one of them feel special. Erika collected Marilyn Monroe things and always wanted to go on a cruise and to Paris. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She leaves behind, her children, Erise DeLeon and husband Raul, Jalen Ramirez, Broklynne Windom, De’Vaughn Ramirez, Shiloh Windom and Elija Ramirez; parents, Ofelia Ramirez and Victor Manuel Ramirez; brothers, Victor Manuel Ramirez, Jr. and wife Cindy, Luis Ernesto Ramirez and wife Raquel; grandmother Graciela Ramirez; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends ?from 2:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home with Funeral Services on the same day ?at 6:00 p.m. with Santiago Altamirano officiating.

At a sad time as this, the Bible gives us comfort at John 5:28&29 where God promises to remember those asleep in the memorial tombs in the resurrection. How wonderful to welcome back those we have lost when they don't have to face sickness, sorrow or death (Revelation 21:3&4)
