Obituary

Bobby C. Crockett, 86, of Irving, Texas passed away on September 22, 2017. He was born July 25, 1931 in Dallas, TX to James H. and Mable Crockett. They preceded him in death along with his brother, Jimmy Crockett. Bob married Patsy Cunningham on June 14, 1957 in Irving. He worked as an Engineering Draftsman at various places and retired from Harris Manufacturing Company in Grand Prairie in 2000. He was a member of Christ Church in Irving. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Patsy Crockett; daughter, Cheryl Steffins and husband Jon; son, Brian Crockett and wife Vera; grandchildren, Amanda Lee, Rebecca Gibbs, Sara Steffins, Jonathan Steffins and Matvey Zaramenskikh; great-grandchildren, Brooks Lee, Austyn Lee, Brock Gibbs, and Grayson Gibbs. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m., Monday, September 25th with the Funeral Service following the visitation at 11:30 at Chism-Smith Funeral Home.
