My nanny, which is what we called my grandma and I have had some amazing memories. I love her deeply. Back when I was little and she made these amazing cookies. ?? She would have me stir the mix and I would be delighted to have great food. She was a great cook. I would come over and leave stuffed. She made her love known and cared passionately about people. She worked with the school bus company for awhile and some of the people at the grocery store knew her by name. I remember lighting fireworks and one of the small flying bee fireworks flew her way. She tilted her chair quickly leaning over. At first she was scared then we all laughed it off and those fireworks were called nanny chasers. She was funny too. We would be sitting in the living room and the television would come on and she would ask us what it said. She would be surprised and say something that surprised us all, which was what she thought the commercial said. We would all laugh hysterically then correct her. I remember one day my nanny was joking too. It was near Christmas when we had a huge dancing grinch that we bought from Walmart. She pushed the button and made it dance. Jokingly she grabbed the grinch by the hands and started dancing with it while humming. There was another memory I have to where she took my sister (Abriana Warren,) Mom (Christine Shelton) and I on a big trip. She took us to Seaworld among many other places and was surprised when the water splashed into the splash zone and got her glasses wet. We were all laughing hard because of how wet we got. She is loving. She is caring. She definitely had a big impact on my life. I love her and always will. Thanks for the memories. Love you nanny. ??
