Amador Jr. Herrera, known fondly as “Junior” to those closest to him, was born on September 14, 1988, in Harris County. With deep roots in Arlington, Texas, Amador called this community home as he grew up, attending Sam Houston High School and forming lifelong bonds along the way. On June 17, 2026, Amador’s journey through life came to a close, leaving behind a legacy cherished by all who had the fortune to know him.
Amador’s life was defined by profound connections to family. He shared a loving marriage with his wife, Cinthia Nallely Hernandez Ortiz, whom he wed on March 20, 2012. Together, they raised a beautiful family, held together by devotion and respect. Amador was a devoted father to David Kenison, Camila Herrera, Sophia Herrera, Emily Herrera, Isabella Herrera, and Isaac Herrera. His dedication was evident in each moment spent nurturing, teaching, and celebrating his children, guiding them with a gentle strength that will continue to inspire for years to come.
Amador was the beloved son of Maria Gracia Hortencia Hernandez and Amador Herrera, growing up within a family whose support and warmth enriched every stage of his life. He leaves behind his mother, Maria Gracia Hortencia Hernandez, who stood steadfast at his side. Amador is also remembered dearly by his sisters: Vanessa Hernandez, Julia C Hernandez, Marlene Hernandez, and Zelena Hernandez. Each sibling shared special memories with Amador, defined by laughter, camaraderie, and unconditional support.The fabric of Amador’s life was woven with love that stretched across generations and relationships. He honored the memory of family who went before him, including Juan Hernández, who preceded him in death.
While many details about Amador’s professional endeavors, hobbies, and affiliations were private or are simply unrecorded, what shines through clearly is the significance of the relationships he cultivated. The warmth he gave freely, his presence at family gatherings, and the guidance he offered as a husband, father, son, and brother are the true hallmarks of his legacy.
Family and friends will have the opportunity to gather and remember Amador Jr. Herrera at several services. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Iglesia Camino de Vida, 3220 Conroe Street, Dallas, TX 75212, with a prayer service beginning at 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place the following day, Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Iglesia Camino de Vida. Service starts at 11:30 a.m. Amador will then be laid to rest at Mountain Creek Cemetery, 2099 Hardy Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75051.
Amador Jr. Herrera’s time with his loved ones, though far too brief, touched the lives of many. His memory will be carried forward through stories told, lessons passed on, and the enduring bonds he nurtured in life. He will be missed, remembered, and honored always.
