It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Benjamin Alexander Calderon, affectionately known as Alex, who was born on June 16th, 2004, in Dallas, Texas. Alex peacefully departed from this world on June 22nd, 2024. He was the cherished son of Miguel Angel Oyuela and Jennifer Leesett Jimenez. Growing up in Irving, Texas, Alex attended MacArthur High School and excelled in his education and personal pursuits.

Alex found his calling as an auto mechanic, where he showcased his talent and passion for working on cars. It was not just a job for him, but a true passion that brought him immense joy and fulfillment. His dedication to his craft was evident in the quality of his work, making him a respected figure in the automotive community.

A proud Christian, Alex found solace and strength in his faith, guiding him through life's challenges and blessings. He was a member of Gorilla Vics Car Club, where his expertise and love for cars were shared with fellow enthusiasts, forging lasting friendships based on a shared passion.

Alex leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will be cherished by all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Laylah Calderon, who was the light of his life. Alex is also survived by his mother, Jennifer Jimenez, his father, Miguel Oyuela, his grandmother Johanna Rodriguez, his grandfather John Jimenez, his grandmother Maria Oyuela, his grandfather Ramon Oyuela, and his brothers Angel and Michael Oyuela. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and loved ones who mourn his loss deeply.

In honoring the memory of Benjamin Alexander Calderon, we celebrate his remarkable life, his unwavering dedication to his craft, and the love he shared with his family and friends. Alex's presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy as a devoted auto mechanic, loving father, and cherished member of the community will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness and passion.
