Iadira Saenz, known affectionately as Mary, was born on February 16, 1968, in San Benito. She passed away on August 19, 2025, leaving behind a vibrant legacy of love and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Iadira grew up in Harlingen, where she was shaped by her loving mother, Juana Maria Davila, whose spirit will forever remain a guiding light in the lives of her family.
Iadira had a passion for music, a love for films, and enjoyed engaging in heartfelt conversations with friends. Her adventurous spirit often found her exploring new cuisines, always eager to share her culinary discoveries with loved ones. Her joys were simple yet profound, reflecting a life well-lived and deeply appreciated.
Her strong ties to the Mormon community were evident throughout her life, as she actively participated in the faith that formed an essential part of who she was. Friends and family will remember Iadira for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support for those around her.
She is survived by her beloved family: her children, Fabian, Roxanne, Samantha, Roberto Jr., Daniel, Israel and David; her grandchild, Lorenzo; and her treasured siblings, Alberto, Juanita, Juan de Dios. Each one of them was blessed to have Iadira in their lives, a loving protector and an irreplaceable presence.
Iadira joins her late mother, Juana Maria Davila, and nephew Jesse Quintero in eternal rest, where her spirit is now free to explore the heavens.
The loving memories and laughter shared with friends and family will continue to resonate as they gather to celebrate her life. A visitation will be held on August 25, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Chism-Smith Funeral Home in Irving, TX. Friends and family are also invited to the funeral service on August 26, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM at the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Colleyville, TX.
