Jayson Wyatt Bush of Kerens, Texas, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 28th, 2022, at the age of 72. He was born on April 3, 1950, in Midland, Texas, the son of Levi Jackson and Ella Irene (White) Bush. Jayson grew up one of nine children. He graduated high school from Irving High School and later went on to attend The University of Texas at Arlington, pursuing an engineering degree. Jayson worked for his father in carpentry when he was a young boy. He continued working hard in his career to on become the management, technical manager, and later the VP of operations to project manager. Jayson had jobs to everywhere from Chicago, Texas and even California where he retired.
Jayson met the love of his life, Sue, at a Halloween party at church in October of 1966. They walked life's journey for fifty-six years building a family and loving home. Jayson and Sue have one son, Jeremy, who loves them fully and unconditionally. Jayson is the rock of his family, and he was a man of integrity, honesty, just an extremely good man who whole heartedly loved his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Vera Foutz, Rena Simmons, three brothers, Matt Bush, Mark Bush, and Curtis Bush.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sue of Kerens; son, Jeremy of Flower Mound; siblings, Emmah Hunt and husband, Robert of Belton, Owen Bush, and wife Debbie, of Temple, Sidney Bush of Belton; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Arrangements are entrusted to Chism-Smith Funeral Home of Irving, Texas.
