Juan Antonio Arevalo, born July 23, 1984, in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and cherished friend, remembered for his deep love of family, vibrant spirit, and enduring loyalty to his home state of Texas.

Juan was the treasured son of Isidro and Maria Carmen Arevalo, who raised him in Dallas where he graduated with his GED. Rooted in his Catholic faith, Juan drew strength and comfort from his beliefs, which guided him throughout his life.

He was a proud Texan in every sense, holding a special place in his heart for the Texas Longhorns and never missing a Dallas Cowboys game. Juan's passion for sports extended to the Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, and the Mavericks, always cheering on his favorite teams with enthusiasm. Beyond sports, he enjoyed playing pool, listening to music, attending concerts, and spending quality time at sporting events. These occasions were more than just pastimes—they were opportunities for Juan to share moments of joy and camaraderie with those he loved.

Family was central to Juan’s life. He is lovingly survived by his parents, Isidro and Maria Carmen Arevalo; his siblings, Laura M. and Adolfo Arzamendi, Alma L. and Jaime Castillo, Elisa Arevalo, Victor Arevalo, and Isidro Arevalo Jr. Juan adored being an uncle to his ten nieces and nephews, and a great-uncle to his four great-nieces and nephews. Each relationship was unique and important to him, and he took pride in witnessing and supporting the achievements and milestones of every child in the family.

Juan’s legacy is enriched by precious memories, heartfelt laughter, and the bonds he formed and nurtured. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Nicolas and Maria Nieves Arevalo and Alfredo and Pascuala Maldonado, as well as his beloved niece, Aisha Marie Arzamendi.

As the Arevalo family gathers to grieve, they reflect on Juan’s profound impact on their lives—his kindness, loyalty, and unwavering love have left an indelible mark. While hearts are heavy with sorrow, there is comfort in knowing that Juan is now resting in the loving arms of the Lord. The family finds solace in God’s promise of eternal life and holds onto the hope of being reunited with him in Heaven.
