Juan Dominguez

Juan Dominguez Juarez passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 94. He was born on January 28, 1932, in San Luis Potosí, S.L.P., Mexico, to Emilio Dominguez and Juanita Juarez, and he grew up in San Luis Potosí.

Mr. Dominguez Juarez was a shoemaker by trade and a business owner, dedicating his working life to his craft with care and commitment. He was a member of the Caballeros de Colón and was a devout Roman Catholic, holding his faith as an important part of his life. He also found enjoyment in jigsaw puzzles, approaching each one with patience and determination and taking pride in framing them when they were completed.

On February 27, 1966, he married Catalina Dominguez Romo. Together they built a family that remained central to his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Catalina; his children, Rocio Crispin and her husband Jose Juan Crispin, Juana Maria Dominguez, Jose Luis Dominguez, Gabriel Dominguez, and Daniel Dominguez and his wife Amber Dominguez. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Kimberly, Monica, and Juanita Crispin, Dawn Weeds, and David Waldrep; and his great-grandchildren, Ethan Ramirez, Ezekiel and Emmanuel Martinez, Scott and Theodore Waldrep, and Aurora Weeds. He is also survived by his sister, Bertha Estrada, and his brother, Emilio Dominguez, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will continue to cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emilio and Juanita Dominguez, and by his brothers, Hilario and Angel Dominguez.His family extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who cared for their father during his time.

Visitation will be held on September 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Chism-Smith Funeral Home, 403 South Britain Road, Irving, Texas 75060. A Rosary will be prayed that same day from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on September 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 202 South Macarthur Boulevard, Irving, Texas 75060. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Boulevard, Irving, Texas 75060.

Juan Dominguez Juarez will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his faith, and the steady work of his hands. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.

El Sr. Dominguez Juarez fue zapatero de oficio y propietario de su propio negocio, dedicando su vida laboral a su profesión con esmero y compromiso. Fue miembro de los Caballeros de Colón y un devoto católico romano, manteniendo su fe como una parte muy importante de su vida. También disfrutaba armar rompecabezas, dedicándose a cada uno con paciencia y determinación, y se sentía orgulloso de enmarcarlos una vez terminados.

El 27 de febrero de 1966 contrajo matrimonio con Catalina Dominguez Romo. Juntos formaron una familia que siempre ocupó un lugar central en su vida.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Catalina; sus hijos, Rocio Crispin y su esposo, Jose Juan Crispin; Juana Maria Dominguez; Jose Luis Dominguez; Gabriel Dominguez; y Daniel Dominguez y su esposa, Amber Dominguez. También deja para honrar su memoria a sus nietos, Kimberly, Monica y Juanita Crispin, Dawn Weeds y David Waldrep, Rachelle Marshall; y a sus bisnietos, Ethan Ramirez, Ezekiel y Emmanuel Martinez, Scott y Theodore Waldrep, y Aurora Weeds, Tavion and Teagan Marshall. Asimismo, le sobreviven su hermana, Bertha Estrada; su hermano, Emilio Dominguez; así como varios sobrinos, sobrinas y demás familiares que continuarán atesorando su memoria.

Fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Emilio y Juanita Dominguez, y por sus hermanos, Hilario y Angel Dominguez.

Su familia expresa su más sincero agradecimiento a todas las personas que cuidaron de su padre durante este tiempo.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el 24 de septiembre de 2026, de 4:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m., en Chism-Smith Funeral Home, ubicado en 403 South Britain Road, Irving, Texas 75060. El Santo Rosario se rezará ese mismo día, de 5:30 p.m. a 6:15 p.m., en Chism-Smith Funeral Home.

La Misa de Funeral se celebrará el 25 de septiembre de 2026, a las 10:00 a.m., en St. Luke’s Catholic Church, ubicada en 202 South Macarthur Boulevard, Irving, Texas 75060. El sepelio tendrá lugar a continuación, a las 11:30 a.m., en Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, ubicado en 1413 East Irving Boulevard, Irving, Texas 75060.
