Kevin Lee Cox, born on December 9, 1970, in Waxahachie, Texas, passed away on April 21, 2026. Kevin was raised in Ferris, Texas, where he attended Ferris High School. Throughout his life he was known for his outgoing and comedic personality. For several years he generously volunteered as a little‑league baseball coach, guiding young players in t‑ball in Oak Cliff with care and enthusiasm.

On June 16, 1999, Kevin married Dahlia R. Cox. Their union was blessed with a son, Kevin Daniel Cox, who survives him and carries forward his father’s memory.

Kevin was the cherished son of Eddie Lee Cox and Ruth Campbell Cox, both of whom preceded him in death. He is also remembered fondly by numerous family members who hold his memory dear.

A visitation to honor Kevin Lee Cox will be held on April 27, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Chism‑Smith Funeral Home, 403 South Britain Road, Irving, Texas 75060.
