Martha Reynolds went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2026. Martha was born in Zainsville, Ohio. She was the daughter of Robert Bernie McMurray, born in Chicago, Illinois and her mom, Jane Frances Calhoun McMurray, born in Newark, Ohio.

Martha was a long-time resident of Irving and graduated from Irving High School. After High School she attended and graduated from TWU in Denton with a degree as a Dental Hygienist. She worked at that until retirement. She also was a Mary Kay lady. She loved that part of her life, and she attended the Mary Kay Conventions and got to have her picture made with Mary Kay at one time. She participated in the Ms. Mature Irving Contest for many years as well.

After selling her home, she lived at North Park Health facility in McKinney, Texas. She loved meeting new people and was involved in all the activities. She was always trying to get everyone to Square Dance! She loved dancing.

She was proceeded in death by her Mother and Dad, two sisters, Cathy Canterbury and Cecelia McMurray. She is survived by one sister Mary Patricia (Patsy) McMurray, two nephews, Robert W. Canterbury and Charles M. Canterbury. Two nieces, Alexandra Ellis (Eppie) and Catherine Simmons (Jerry). She also has numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was a good daughter, sister. Aunt and friend. She will be missed by everyone. Martha will be celebrated in a service at Chism-Smith Funeral Home at 403 South Britian Road, Irving, TX 75060 at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 22nd.
