Miriam Ruth Ramirez Guerrero, born on April 19, 1967, in Mexico City, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025. A beloved member of her family and community, Miriam touched the lives of those around her with her warm spirit and unwavering faith.
Miriam was the daughter of Ricardo Ramirez and Maria Elena Guerrero. Growing up in Mexico City, she developed a strong foundation rooted in love and devotion to her family and faith. As a Christian, she dedicated her life to serving the Lord and helping others. Her passion for education led her to become a Kinder Educator, where she inspired young minds with her kindness and nurturing approach.
Miriam was united in marriage to Miguel Ramos, and together they created a loving home filled with laughter and joy. She was a proud mother to three, Ely, Aisha, and Edgar Ramos. Her love extended even further as she embraced the role of grandmother to Axel Rosas, Jael Rosas, and Alexa Rosas, whom she cherished deeply. Mondays were special days for Miriam; she would lovingly prepare tortas and Mexican sweet bread, affectionately known as conchas, for her grandchildren after school. She would say with joy, “I made my beautiful kids their tortas and brought their conchas so they would have something healthy in their bellies while they wait for their mom to make it home and cook them something healthy.”
Miriam was known for her easy-going nature and joyful spirit, often finding humor in the simplest moments. Her laughter became a light in the lives of many, allowing her to connect with others effortlessly. Her nickname, “Mirusvirus,” reflected her contagious enthusiasm and cheerfulness. Whether it was watching documentaries, series, or movies, she enjoyed spending time with her family, immersing herself in stories that would bring them closer together.
The Ramos family extends its deepest gratitude to every individual who offered support during Miriam's treatments—those who provided companionship, meals, and care during a challenging time. They wish to express their heartfelt thanks to Pastors Elias and Silvia Lopez and the congregation for their generosity in providing food for the funeral.
Miriam Ruth Ramirez Guerrero leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and laughter that will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. Her spirit will continue to shine through the memories created and the lives she has touched. She is survived by her husband, Miguel Ramos; children, Ely, Aisha, and Edgar; grandchildren, Axel, Jael, and Alexa; and her mother, Maria Elena Guerrero.
