Phillip Benjamin James, 52, of Hurst, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022. He was born on March 9, 1969, in Dallas, Texas, the son of Paul Melton and Claudia Joyce James. Phil grew up traveling with his parents but spent most of his time in the DFW area. He enjoyed playing golf, skiing, and watching sports. Most of all he loved his daughters Macie and Maddie. Phil is survived by Macie James, Maddie James; brother, Rick James; among numerous other family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 15th at 11:00 am in the Chism-Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
