Robbie Van Robertson, born on April 2, 1946, went home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Willetha Robertson, with whom he shared 50 beautiful years of marriage. Their life together was a true testimony of commitment, partnership, and enduring love.
Robbie was a devoted Christian who deeply loved Jesus and lived his life boldly sharing the love of Christ with everyone he met. His faith guided every part of his life, and he was a faithful member of the Church of the First Born, where he found joy in worship, fellowship, and service.
He is survived by his children: Kimberly Gaona (husband Richard Gaona), Sheila Rehmeyer (husband Heath Rehmeyer), and Robert Robertson (wife Brooke Robertson).
He is also survived by his siblings: Dean Robertson, Cathy Kennedy, and Karen Campbell.
He was a proud grandfather to Richard, Kristen, Adrian, Alexandra, Madeline, Dylan, and Bridget, and a loving great-grandfather to Shellie, Rhett, Richard, Jack, Riley, Anthony, Jayce, Eden, Peyton, Haley, and Benjamin, each of whom brought him immense joy.
Robbie will be remembered for his gentle heart, steady faith, and the way he made others feel valued and loved. His life was a living testimony of God’s grace, and his words and prayers will continue to echo in the hearts of all who knew him.
Though we mourn his passing, we find peace in knowing he is reunited with Willetha and now rejoicing in the presence of his Savior.
