Sandra Kaye Cuevas, beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on March 29, 1957, in West Dallas, Texas. Sandra later resided in Oak Cliff, where she formed a foundation rooted in love for her family and community.The cherished daughter of Richard Tadlock and Annie Lucy Carter, Sandra was a lifelong Texan and attended Pinkston High School in Dallas. Those who knew her will remember the devotion and unwavering warmth that defined her life. She began her professional journey at Royal Optical, where her dedication and strong work ethic stood as a testament to her character.Sandra’s family was her greatest pride. She was the devoted mother to Jacquelyn Flores and Mary Flores. Sandra’s legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Jerry, Diego, Alexis, Marie, Victoria, Samantha, and Savannah. The joys of her later years were multiplied by the presence of her great-grandchildren: Sophie, Aiden, Ava, Alison, Rylan, Rya, Mila, and Saul, with whom she held many cherished moments that brought light and laughter to her days.
Family bonds were central in Sandra’s life. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Carolyn Reynolds and brother Jerry Tadlock, who shared in the milestones, large and small, that shaped her journey. Sandra’s path was also marked by loss, having been predeceased by her beloved daughter Mary Flores (born November 28, 1975, passed August 26, 2021), sisters Patricia Downs, Linda McBride, Nancy Reynolds, and brothers Tommy and Ricky Tadlock.
Sandra’s life was accented by her enormous heart for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with whom she delighted in spending time. Each visit, holiday, and simple gathering became a treasured memory because of her warmth, humor, and kindness. Friends and family alike recall her generosity and the sense of comfort she freely extended.
Although her journey included moments of sorrow, Sandra faced every challenge with resilience. She leaves behind a loving family and a legacy built on compassion, strength, and selflessness—qualities that will continue to inspire all who knew her.Sandra Kaye Cuevas will be dearly missed and forever cherished by those whose lives she touched.
