William Michael Graham, 73, of Irving Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 20 of 2026 in his home surrounded by family.

Mike was born on Monday, April 6, 1953 in Inez Kentucky to Charles and Helen “Hammond” Graham. In 1959 He and his family moved to Irving Texas.

Mike followed in his father’s footsteps, spending nearly his entire life as a paint contractor and general construction worker. He carried with him the lessons, values, and love for trade that his father passed down to him.

Anyone who knew Mike knew of his passion for drag racing, classic cars, and motorcycles. What started as an interest in his youth became a lifelong pursuit that brought him great joy, lasting friendships, and countless memories. He loved everything about the automotive world and was happiest surrounded by engines, tools and the people who shared his passion.

He is survived by his wife; Johna “Valla” Graham, son; Michael Graham, daughter; Rachel Graham, grandchildren; Ryen Sanchez, Caitlyn Gaston (Michael Martinez), and Jude Herring, great-grandchildren; Cooper and Bentley Martinez, brother; Buddy Graham (Chris), brother in law; E.P. Simmons, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and his beloved furry companion; Kaine.

He was preceded in death by his daughter; Shawna Graham-Herring, parents Charles and Helen (Hammond) Graham, sisters Sharon Simmons and Diane Newman , and brother in law Steve Newman.

Mike’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 11:00 am at Oak View Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity or organization of your choice, if desired.

We would like to send a special thank you to his nurses and aides through VNA Hospice for the excellent care they provided.

Through his hard work, loyalty, and enduring passion for life, Mike left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends and loved ones.
