Clyde Edward Jones Jr.

Obituary Clyde Edward Jones departed this life after 33,134 days on planet earth. He was born on December 5th 1929 in Dallas Texas. His parents Bessie Arlou James, Clyde E. Jones Sr and sisters Marinetta and Dorothy preceded him in death. Clyde grew up in Dallas and was a graduate of Crozier Tech High School class of 1944.He served in the Navy during the Korean War, and later attended the University of Texas at Arlington studying electronics and electrical engineering. He retired in 1989after a 38 plus year career with Ling Temco Vought missiles and electronics group. As a lifetime dedicated servant of the Lord Jesus Christ he spent a lot of his retirement years assisting Emmanuel Church of Tulsa Oklahoma with its book and mailing ministry. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Ruby Cleo Jones, his daughters Mona Jones Simpson and her husband Marc, Cynthia Jones Russell and her husband Bob, his son Richard Jones, two nieces, one nephew and eight wonderful grand children. Clyde's life can be seen on the hearts and soul of so many people these past 90 years. He lived a full life and will be missed by all of us. Visitation will be held on September 2nd from 5:30-7:00 pm at the Chism-Smith Funeral Home Irving, Texas.
