Malcolm Parker Obituary

Malcolm Everett Parker, age 65, of Irving, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021. He was born on July 3, 1955 in Fort Benning, Georgia, the son of Sidney and Carrie Parker. His parents preceded him in death. Malcom grew up in San Francisco, California. He went to Oceana High School and later went on to complete his bachelor’s degree of Arts from San Francisco State University. Malcolm married the love of his life, Beverly, on July 4, 1981. They spent 39 years enjoying each other’s company and building a family. Malcom and his wife also were foster parents for 10 years, and cared for more than 50 children during that time. He worked for the DMV for 10 years and was a dedicated teacher for over 5 years. He is a member of Bible Way Community Baptist Church, who had a huge heart for helping people. Malcolm loved all sports and always enjoyed a delicious meal. Most of all he loved spending quality time with his family. They were the light of his life. Malcolm was a loving and kind man who will be dearly missed and cherished in the hearts of those who loved him forever. He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Parker; children, Janee Fairley, and Mac Anthony Parker; grandchildren, Emery, Isaiah, Dylan, Everly; siblings, Kathy Goodbeer, Danny Parker, and Adrienne Parker; among numerous nephews, nieces, in-laws, and friends.
