Maria Roman Obituary

Maria Alicia Ramon went to be with Jesus on Saturday January 30th, 2021 at the age of 76, she was born on November 5th, 1944 to Pablo and Florinda Gonzalez, in McAllen TX. During her teenage years, Alicia love to serve and help people, so she decided to volunteer at a nursing home and work her way up to become a registered nurse, and she did this for 35 years, going from the nursing home, to Irving Hospital Which is now called (Baylorwhite Hospital).
During that time, she met the love of her life Antonio Ramon, at a dance she went to after work, and from that moment, history was made. They were Married for 30 years and lived a good life, Alicia was a Dedicated mother and wife, who effortlessly balanced work and home life, after retiring in 2002 Alicia dedicated the rest of her time, to her Grandchildren and Great grands and her four kids.
Alicia is preceded by her parents, Pablo, and Florinda Gonzalez, her brother Mike Gonzalez, and her sister Anita Gonzalez, she is survived by her husband Antonio Ramon, her four Kids, Juan Manuel Alaniz (wife Maria), Linda Lee Alaniz Alvarado (husband Jaime), Gloria Alaniz Arizpe (husband Armilo), and Cindy Alaniz Guerrero (Husband Jesus), her brothers Jesus and Pablo Gonzalez, and sister Irene Ramos, 25 Grandchildren, and 22 Great grands, and A host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a very special thanks to Miss Pamela Jackson (AKA) PJ, and her son Everton Jackson (AKA) EJ, who would pick her up like a Queen and sit her in her favorite spot. Pamela was a nurse who cared for mother for three years, mom gained another daughter and grandson who she was very proud of, EJ serves in the United States Navy, she was loved unconditionally by both PJ and EJ and we just wanted to say thank you, for loving her as much as we did.
In celebration of Maria Alicia Ramon's life, a Memorial Mass, will be held February 9th at Saint Luke Catholic Church in Irving TX at 10:00 AM
