Helen Juanita Adams (nee Edwards) was born November 29, 1937 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Lewis and Ruby Edwards. She died on November 27, 2019 in Frisco, Texas. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Bobby Adams and her granddaughter Elizabeth Adams. She is survived by her three children: Kim Kresge and husband Charles, Linda Morgan and husband Joe and John Adams and wife Amanda; grandchildren: Davis Morgan, John Adams Jr., Timothy Adams and Jennifer Adams; sister Carolyne Bowles and husband Ralph; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.

Helen grew up in Oklahoma, graduating as Salutatorian from Holdenville High School in 1956. She attended college at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, graduating in 1959, where she met her husband Bobby Adams. Helen returned to school later in life, earning her Masters Degree from the University of North Texas in 1984.

Helen taught at several high schools during her career, teaching home economics and later, vocational business education. After 35 years of teaching Helen retired and pursued her love of woodworking, often building her own furniture. She explored sketching, stained glass, painting, sewing, and jewelry making. But her most rewarding hobby was woodworking.

Helen was also an active member of her Sunday school class, Red Hats, and Bunko Club.

As a teacher, mother, grandmother, friend, and Christian she taught us all by being a positive role model.

We love you Mom, and we miss you.
