Obituary

Martha Ann Pruitt, age 86 passed away on August 1, 2019. She as born on December 29, 1932 in Avery, Texas to Spinx and Mary Baker. Martha married Thomas Pruitt on July 4, 1953 in Avery, TX. Thomas preceded her in death. She grew up in Clarksville and was the only deaf person in her family. Martha loved God and the American flag. She adored her family and would do anything for any of them. Survivors include, daughters, Nancy Pruitt, Barbara Pruitt, Jennifer Truss; 2 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., on Thursday, August 8th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 12 noon on Saturday, August 10th at Avery Cemetery in Avery, TX
