Obituary

A graveside gathering for Clara Pauline Julian, age 96, of Dallas, TX will be held 2:00pm, Monday, April 6, 2020 at Frankford Cemetery in Addison, TX., under the direction of Chism-Smith Funeral Home of Irving, TX.
Because of the recommendations of the Dallas County government and social distancing enacted at this time, this graveside service will be a small family gathering to witness the interment at the grave and will not include a service with a minister. The family of Mrs. Julian hope to have a proper service at the graveside at a later date. A date that will be announced after the dangers of social gatherings due to the covid19 virus had passed.
Mrs. Julian was born Oct. 22, 1923 in Honey Grove, TX., to parents Wilbur Aaron and Nola Hix Richardson. Mrs. Julian preferred her middle name of Pauline and was known by most by that name. Pauline had two sons, Curtis Moore, Jr., who preceded her in death on Apr. 8, 2018, and surviving son, Dennis and his wife Judy Moore of Farmers Branch, TX.
Before her retirement, Pauline had worked most of her adult life at A&P Grocers and the Food Basket grocery store as a butcherette (a term used in the old days meaning butcher’s helper).
Pauline met and married the love of her life Charles (Charlie) Julian. Pauline and Charlie spent most of their time in retirement traveling the United States by car. They had a
wonderful life and loved taking their sweet time traveling and taking in the sites of the road. After 40 plus years of marriage Charlie preceded Pauline in death on Nov. 23, 2015.
Other survivors include daughter-in-law Connie Moore of Rockwall, TX; grandsons Randy Moore and his wife Ronda of Canton, TX., and Ted Qualls of the Colony, TX.; granddaughters Leslie Corey and husband Jared of Canton, TX., and Shannon Chaney of Frisco, TX., Tracey Rabe and husband Brad of Campbell, TX., and Kelly Nichols and husband Todd of Rockwall, TX. 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
